Tennis Elbow

OVERVIEW

Tennis elbow ( lateral epicondylitis ) is a painful condition that occurs when tendons in your elbow are overloaded /damaged, usually by repetitive motions of the wrist and arm

Tennis elbow ( lateral epicondylitis )  involves the muscles and tendons of the forearm that are responsible for the extension of your wrist and fingers. The tendon usually involved is  Extensor Carpi Radialis Brevis (ECRB).

When the ECRB is weakened from overuse, microscopic tears form in the tendon where it attaches to the lateral epicondyle. This can cause gradual wear and tear of the muscle over time. This leads to inflammation and pain.

back pain
ravi dawda

My mom has been suffering from left tennis elbow for the last 2 years and has seen many doctors and given 10 steroid injections but the pain has increased instead of disappearing. Then a doctor friend of mine asked me to show it to Dr Hitesh Patel. I showed my mom to Dr Hitesh Patel at Healthy Life Pain Management Center Chandlodia and advised PRP injection. We saw PRP injection sonography in his clinic, gave the same place where the muscle was broken, gave PRP injection and got about 50% relief in a single month. Thank you Dr Hitesh Patel
